Bo Reichenbach's Story

Bo Reichenbach is a Navy SEAL injured when he stepped on an explosive device in Chora, Afghanistan. Bo participated in multiple operations that cleared hundreds of Taliban out of a large village, resulting in peace, prosperity and pride by peace-loving Afghan villagers. At the conclusion of operations, Bo’s unit was profusely and sincerely thanked by local villagers. One particularly moving expression of gratitude was a village elder who said he had been trying to educate girls at an underground improvised school for several years, but because of Bo’s unit he could now do that in the open without fear of reprisal. Bo is a Patriot who made a lasting contribution, which unfortunately also came at great expense.

Bo is a wounded warrior who has given his legs to his country, and has a strong desire to “get back on his feet” and serve again. Bo’s road to recovery has been long and is not complete, but he already has a remarkably clear vision for doubling down his commitment to our nation and serving others. PPF strongly desired to help Bo’s recovery, and to help build a foundation for Bo’s future.

There are several tremendous organizations that do amazing things for wounded warriors, but this was a unique situation. Bo’s father already owned land in Bo’s hometown of Billings, Montana, and is a licensed general contractor who wanted to work with Bo constructing Bo’s “forever home”, and PPF partnered with Tunnel 2 Towers in order to provide funding to build a SMART home for Bo and his family.

Bo’s house was constructed by Bo and his father, Don Reichenbach. Don is a licensed general contractor and has constructed homes for decades.

Phoenix Patriot Foundation thanks all of the Patriots who have contributed to this effort!

The image below shows Bo's new living area.  Bo and his family thank everyone who donated for their generosity and thoughtfulness. Phoenix Patriot Foundation could not have reached this goal without our supporters. Thank you so very much for contributing to Bo's House and making his family's dream of a "Forever Home" come true!
