- They will provide post-military and government support to assist these individuals in re-entering civilian life.
HOW WILL MY DONATION BE USED?
Your donation is critical to our shared mission. It will be used to assist post 9-11 combat wounded veterans, through individually-tailored programs in finding the next step toward renewed passion and service. Veterans have a lot to give and want to continue serving our country and their communities. After rehabilitation they may want to continue their education, become a coach or mentor, or even fly unmanned surveillance aircraft for the Department of Homeland Security. Whatever their next calling in life is, PPF will help them get to that next phase, facilitating their return to service.
HOW IS PPF DIFFERENT FROM OTHER VETERAN ASSISTANCE ORGANIZATIONS?
PPF is a post-service rehabilitation and reintegration program designed to augment, continue, and add to the assistance limits of the services branches. This can include education, rehabilitation, job training, coaching and job placement.
One of the first initiatives as an organization is to develop a series of unit reunions. Upon injury, the wounded veteran heads straight to a military facility to begin treatment and rehabilitation and may stay there for months to years. The remaining unit is still in combat overseas, and upon the end of their deployment, they return straight back to their duty station. These reunions will bring the wounded and their units together again, and will be customized to the interests of the injured patriot. In addition to promoting psychological and emotional well-being, these programs will also reinforce community, facilitate recovery, and welcome reintegration.
IS PPF WORKING WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP OUR VETERANS?
Yes, PPF is coordinating with several other non-profit and governmental organizations, as well as private businesses, to further assist our severely wounded and injured veterans. PPF wants to work alongside other groups, using our shared mission to aid our men and women who so rightly deserve our help. PPF is actively seeking innovative ways to bring organizations together to accomplish this mission that we gladly accept and embrace as a grateful nation.
IS PPF A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION?
Phoenix Patriot Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization with a tax ID number of 27-3074476. Your donation is tax deductible.
