2016 Lifeline100 Patrick Feeks Ride and Benefit
Several years ago Jared Ogden shared with us his vision and invited us to be Ambassadors for his newly formed Phoenix Patriot Foundation. Jared was a friend, teammate and room mate to our son Navy SEAL SO1 Patrick Feeks. Jared was inspired to develop PPF after his friend Dan Cnossen was severely injured in Afghanistan. Jared saw that some important issues for veterans were not being met by existing organizations, and he wanted to help veterans find a new passion in their lives and a new focus for service.
We have been privileged to have participated in several PPF events, and we have seen the veterans rise up to meet the challenges these programs have presented. We have seen veterans heal and grow and accomplish amazing things. We are proud to be a part of this organization! We know that Patrick, who was KIA on August 16, 2012 supported Jared's vision and we support PPF in Pat's memory.
This year we are requesting that you ride and fundraise at the Lifeline 100 cycling event this October 16 in the Annapolis area. Details and registration are at www.lifeline100.com. Pat loved cycling and this would be a great way to honor his memory while enjoying a great cycling event! You don’t have to be an experienced cyclist to participate. There are 15 and 30 mile paved trail rides as well as 65 and 100 mile rides. When you register make sure to enter “FEEKSPPF“ as your team name.
